Biographical Sketch

Pamela R. Kushner, MA, MD, FAAFP, received her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine.
Dr. Kushner is Associate Clinical Professor in Family Medicine at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine. She is also a family physician in private practice in Long Beach, California, and Director of the Osteoporosis Diagnostic Center in Los Alamitos, California.
Dr. Kushner is the immediate past California representative to the American Academy of Family Physicians. She was the first female president of the Long Beach Medical Association. Widely recognized as an expert in preventive medicine, Dr. Kushner has published articles in Hospital Medicine, Women's Health in Primary Care, Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine and Stroke.
Dr. Kushner is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, California Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, California Medical Association, and the American Medical Women's Association.
Dr. Kushner is a medical board reviewer for the state of California.
